The Huahine Sofitel was the nicest Hotel that I saw. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a trip to French Polynesia. Bob and I ate lunch here and relaxed one afternoon after exploring the nearby Muraes.

These swimming pools are right on a lagoon's beach. The thatched roof huts in the back are hotel rooms where you can sleep, wake up and immediately jump in the water for a swim. This location: a crystal-watered lagoon surrounded by mountains was the most spectacular in French Polynesia.
