Raven (5 minutes, B+W, 16mm) is the true story of Mrs. Ethel Johnson, who through the ritual of shooting squirrels and feeding them to the ravens, comes to terms with her own mortality. This film was made in early 1996, towards the end of Mrs. Johnson's life. In 2000, Mrs. Johnson passed away in her home, where this film was made, in the hills of Ramona, CA.

Raven screened at the Aspen Short Film Festival, the Philadelphia International Film Festival and the New York Short Film Festival.
