Too
Many Josés (25 minutes, D2) - When Presidential
candidate Pat Buchanan said that there were, "...too
many Josés in this country..." it sparked an odyssey
for José Lugo, a Boston teenager who traveled to the
1996 Republican National Convention to confront Buchanan on
the issue of legal immigration and racial discrimination in
the U.S.
Featuring appearances by: Comedian Dana Carvey,
Senator Bob Dole, Oliver North and Pat Buchanan
Acquired and broadcast by WGBH-TV, Boston. Supported
by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
